Stay with us
Modern and cozy, refined yet familiar, The Blake is a boutique hospitality space where you’re meant to live your best life. Our New Haven hotel embodies the concept of local luxury, a philosophy rooted in community, aesthetics and comfort.
Whether you’re rediscovering the way a good night of sleep feels in our guest rooms, prepping for a keynote speech in our lobby, or wetting your whistle with Connecticut microbrews at one of our bars, The Blake is your casually elegant home-away-from-home near Yale University.
Inspired by New Haven’s forward-looking spirit, The Blake sits at the intersection of past and future in one of America’s oldest towns. Our namesake, Alice Blake, was the first female graduate of Yale Law School. Our New England bistro is an homage to Hamilton Park, one of New Haven’s – and the nation’s – first public green spaces.
We designed The Blake with your best self in mind. Come be that you with us.
New Photography Exhibit, “African Birds,” at The Gallery
The Gallery at the Blake Hotel presents a late summer exhibit, African Birds; a 16-piece series of richly textured and layered photographs composed of African birds, captured by PenRod studios. Hotel guests may view this multi-specied exhibit curated by KLG on the 6th floor adjacent to High George, our rooftop restaurant and bar.
